Week 8 - It's 2am ..Opps wait, 1am.damn I hate daylight savings time.

Sharks (3-4) vs. Lighting (1-6)
Hey, after the 87 to 33 ass-kicking The Lightning gave The Onslaught last week, I'm officially on The Lightning's bandwagon. Of course with an injured Hearst and Holt on BYE the band is playing Taps, but that is beside the point. The Sharks don't have it much easier with Ahmann Green sitting down this week, but they still should have enough in the tank to make sure The Lightning doesn't strike twice in a row.

Onslaught (4-3) vs. WoWW (3-4)
Guess this will be the only time this year The Panthers will be pulling for WoWW. Was the Deuce, Keyshawn, Gonzo trade for Portis worth it? Will it bite WoWW in the ass like everything else seems to have this year? Even though this is a very close match up, teams from the South just don't lose to teams from The Least …err I mean East.

Panthers (4-3) vs. Cougars (2-5)
The moonshine will be flowing this week at the 2003 The Battle for Penisville Supremacy 2003 Dogpatch Bowl. Lock up your livestock.

Nukers (4-3) vs. Storm (5-2)
If the Nukers could pull off an upset here, they would have a leg up on the West Division. However the Storm have scored a league leading 605 points (next closest 491), while the Nukers rely on winning close defensive battles. It helps that Faulk is on bye, but, well, McNabb, Holmes and Harrison aren't known for getting into defensive battles.

Magic (4-3) vs. Maulers (2-5)
Fresh off a stunning week 7 upset of WoWW, the Maulers are looking to capitalize on the momentum against a Magic's team that has nearly everyone hurt EXCEPT Fred Taylor. Go figure. With Griese playing to his potential since the Brady trade and The Edge facing a very porous Washington D, I think they can do it in a close one.

Maulers 65 Magic 60

-= Game of the Week =-
Knights (5-2) vs. Crushers (5-2)
The North Division leading Knights (How's that sound Jay?) battle the South Division leading Crushers (damn it hurts to type that.) The Crushers started out on fire but have lost their last two in a row, while The Knights have run the table on their last 5 games. But with both Tomlinson and Farve on bye this week, that streak should come to an abrupt end. Go South.

Crushers 75 Knights 53

Good luck to all
