HOLY SHIT ---The Crushers are 2 and 0. The Nukers ran 90 on the Maulers for a win. The Knights fall to the Sharks, The "Unproven and worthless" Deuce McAllister nearly single handedly beat The Panthers. The #2 and #3 scoring players in The League are Drew Bledsoe and Charlie Gardner and the #1and 2 WR so far are Josh Reed and Curtis Conway. Jeez... I leave for one week and the whole league goes haywire. Next thing you know someone will tell me that WoWW is dead last in The South Division.

Welp, on to Week 3...

WoWW (1-1) vs. Magic (2-0)
There is no point in writing about this one. I can give 100 reasons why WoWW should win this game but, considering that WoWW is 0-4 against The Magic (lifetime) and The Evil One, Coach Quinn, always finds a way to make WoWW's players disappear, well, the discussion is moot.

Magic 90 WoWW 45.

Lightning (0-2) vs. Knights (0-2)
The Battle of the Beatens - This is obviously a big divisional game both to try and get on a winning track and to try and keep pace with The Magic. This game looks like a coin toss but The Knights have slightly better match-ups.

Knights 65 Lightning 60.

Sharks (1-1) vs. Crushers (2-0)
The Crushers are on FIRE in 2002. Consecutively spanking the Maulers and WoWW, they are beginning to resemble The Crushers teams of old. They lose their leading rusher this week, Gardner, to a bye but that shouldn't matter much. The way this team is scoring with someone new stepping up every week, I wouldn't be surprised if their kicker blew up for 50 points. The Sharks on the other hand have issues. Jimmy Smith is on bye and their backfield is pretty banged up. Look for the Crushers to easily win and maintain their lead in The South.

Crushers 75 Sharks 50

Panthers (1-1) vs. Storm (2-0)
The Panthers lead the league in one category…Lack of scoring. Averaging just under 48 points per week. With both Bettis and Lewis on bye this week, things don't look much better this week either. Coach Sauer scrambled and has added "One Week Wonder" Moe Williams and Donald Driver to form a makeshift run a shoot offence in the hope to digging out of the scoring doldrums. However, The Strom are rapidly proving that they really only DO need the 4 Horsemen to win and I see no reason to doubt that this week. (PS.I wonder if Coach Sauer thinks Deuce McAllister is a proven back yet?)

Storm 85 Panthers 50

Cougars (1-1) vs. Nukers (1-1)
I'm not sure if this really constitutes and upset considering, The Cougars are coming of a dismal 35-point week 2 performance and the Nukers are riding a 90 point Quarterbackless victory, but I'll call it one anyway. On paper, The Cougars look fairly solid, with names like Garcia, Davis, and Boston, but they are playing more like Jerry Garcia, Gina Davis and the Boston Celtics. The Nukers on the other hand seem to have their run and shoot offence firing on all cylinders. Go with The Nukers with and a 2nd straight upset.

Nukers 75 Cougars 65

-= Game of the Week =-
Maulers (0-2) vs. Onslaught (1-1)
The Onslaught, who's revamped offence is leading the leading The East Division for the first time in franchise history, will try to continue their win streak this week against The Maulers who seem to be playing for draft picks in 2003. I hear rumors that the Col. has not stopped bingeing on Ho-Ho's since last weeks thrashing. (Technically, the Col. has been bingeing on Ho-Ho's since1972, but he just stepped up the pace a tad last week). Looks like the Col. will shake things up a bit this week choosing to go with the "Denver Connection" run and shoot system and for the first time in my memory BENCHING Eddie "Boy" George. Will this be enough to get The Maulers off the snide…. I don't think so, but the match ups say this one should be an exciting one.

Onslaughts 78 Maulers 73

Good luck to all
